Hey Everyone!
I appologize for not up-dating the blog since March when we had the Dodgeball Tournament, but we haven’t had anything big happen since the tournament, so we’ve just been having our normal Thrive’s every Friday at 7pm! If you’ve never been to Thrive and you wanna come check it out, I hightly suggest you do! It’s a BLAST! And we are now open to Grade 7′s! So it is now Grades 7-12! COME HAVE FUNNNN!!!! And if your in town for May long weekend, we are having a big event and there will be a team from Courtenay coming! I don’t know what were going to be doing yet, but it’ll be AWESOME! You don’t wanna miss it! And May 8th is GOLD RIVER DAY!!!! There’s gonna be a Parade (with floats), Face Painting and soooo much more! I’m sooo stoked! I don’t remember something BIG like this happen since the logger sports and that was a very long time ago! This is something you really don’t wanna miss! And that’s about it… for now. 
I hope to see all you Teens at Thrive and I hope to see the entire community and even people who don’t live in Gold River at the Gold River Day Celebration! SEE YOU THERE!!!!!

Thrive Winter Olympics!!!
Hey Everyone!!!
So, this Friday (January, 29, 2010) will be the Thrive Winter Olympics!!!! It’s gonna be EPIC, so BE THERE! You have 4 teams to choose from: Team Canada, Team Sweden, Team Germany, and Team U.S.A. So choose the team you want to be on and come wearing your team colours! Canada is Red, Germany’s Black, Sweden’s Blue (i think), and United States is White?… i’m totally not sure on that one so just wear U.S. colours! lol! It may not exactly be Winter time, but we have our ways, so you definetely don’t wanna miss it!

Thrive Youth Centre Grand Opening!!!
Hello!!!
The Thrive Youth Centre Grand Opening will be held on January 22, 2010! This is for All Ages! There’s going to be a BBQ, Live Music, Door Prizes, Games and Activities and much, much more!!! You don’t wanna miss it! Be There! And when I say Be There… I mean it! It goes from 6-8pm.
Thrive (Teens Only) will start at 8pm and will go until 10pm-ish.
Also, on Saturday January, 23, 2010, there will be a Kids Event for all ages from 1-3pm! And a Family Movie Night from 6-8pm! You don’t wanna miss that either!

Hey Everyone!!!
There will be Thrive this week even though there is a dance so if you don’t feel like dancing come and hang out with us! Thrive will start around 7:00pm-ish. Plus, the Youth Centre everyone has been waiting for will be officially opening next Friday! (January, 22) There will be a BBQ and everything! So be there! You don’t wanna miss it!!!!

Thrive Winter Retreat 2010!
When: January 15th-17th
Cost: $130 per student. Registration will be due Jan. 13th. You can make cheques payable to Northgate Foursquare Church.
What To Bring: Bible, Notebook, Pen, Flashlight, Personal Toiletries and Shower Stuff, Sleeping Bag and Pillow, Running Shoes, and Appropriate Clothing for weather and games.
What Not To Bring: Cell Phones, iPods/MP3 Players, Personal Gaming Systems, Skateboards, Alcohol, Drugs, Weapons.
Info: We will be leaving the Church at 6 P.M. on Friday January, 15th and returning at about 2:30P.M. on Sunday January, 17th.
**Note Dinner is on your own for Friday Night, Please eat before you come, or bring a packed lunch!** Thanks!
